Nellie E. Crawford
Nellie Elizabeth Crawford, 95, of Grace Village, Winona Lake, IN.,
went to be with her Lord on June 22, 2005. Born Feb. 17, 1910 in Sebring, Ohio,
to Alfred and Emma Daniels. On June 14, 1928, she married Walter G. Crawford,
who preceded her in death in 1978.She and her husband resided in East Canton,
OH, for 45 years where they raised their four children.
She was very active in women and children ministries in the Grace Brethren Church. She moved to Warsaw, IN. in 1985 and wintered in Florida with her sister. Primarily a homemaker and housekeeper for others, she filled her early retirement years with considerable hospital volunteer work. She was a member of the Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church.
Surving is one sister, Betty Ruth Weiss, Boca Raton, FL, a son, Richard Crawford,
Stubenville, OH; three daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth Ann and Bruce Brawdy, Lakeside, CA, Rebecca and Philip Dick, Warsaw, IN, and Nancy and Wayne Lowe, Lake Oswego, OR; 13 grandchildren ; 32 great-grandchildren ; 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be Thursday July 7, 2005 at 9:30 AM at Grace Brethren Church of Middlebranch, 2911 William St. N.E., Middlebranch, OH.44652. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Louisville, OH. There will be no other calling hours or services. Memorial donations to Grace Village or Koscuisko County Home Health Care & Hospice. Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders in East Canton in charge of arrangements.
