Naomi Kay Gill
Naomi Kay Gill, age 70, of Canton went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 31, 2007 in Mercy Medical Center following an extended illness. Born June 4, 1937 in Strange Creek, WV to the late Raymond L. and Dorothy M. Ramsey. She was a Canton area resident for the past 53 years and a dedicated member of the Canton Freewill Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband Claudis Gill in 1984; one son, Michael Gill; one brother, Jack Ramsey. Survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and David Cheviron of Massillon, one daughter-in-law, Cindy Gill of East Sparta; four grandchildren, Jennifer Susan Michael, Jessica Anne Brister, Nichole VanPelt and Tyler Adam Gill; two great grandchildren, Kamryn E. and Carter J. Michael; two brothers, James and William Ramsey both of West Virginia. Funeral services will be Friday, Jan. 4, 2008 at 1:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Pastor Rory Wineka officiating. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
