Nannie L. Spencer
Age 82, of East Canton, passed away Thursday August 22, 2013 in the Laurels of Massillon. She was born April 26, 1931 in Redwine, KY to the late Everett and Mary Ann (Adkins) Todd. Nannie was an East Canton resident since 1997 prior to which she had resided in Canton. She was a member of Canton Temple of Praise. Nannie was a kind and very loving person who truly loved her family and had a deep belief in God. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Spencer in 1995; two sisters, Ruth Fannin and Edna Lewis; five brothers, Lewis, Everett, John, Ray and Drexel Todd. She is survived by four children and their spouses, Jack Spencer of East Canton, Brenda and James Young of East Canton, Deborah and Richard Mohr of East Canton, Kathryn Mitchell of Rockport, TX; 8 grandchildren, James, Scott, Renee, Kimberly, Gretchen, Michael, Beth and Matthew; 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be Monday August 26, 2013 at 11:00am in Indian Run Christian Church, 8368 Hill Church St. SE, East Canton, OH 44730 with Terry Bailey officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Sunday 6-8pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton and one hour before services on Monday at the church (10-11am).
