Nancy E. Brown
Age 81, of Canton, passed away Tuesday August 30, 2016 in The Laurels of Massillon. She was born October 26, 1934 in Canton to the late James and Martha (Craig) Pollock. Nancy retired from Carm’s Foods Inc. after 20 years of service and was formerly employed by Gabe’s Meats and Deli. She was a member of the Northwest Church of Christ where she had served as a Sunday school teacher for 60 years. She served as a volunteer with Mercy Hospice for 14 years. Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, James A. Brown Sr. in 2012; one sister, Barbara Aukerman. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James A. Jr. and Diana Brown of Ft. Myers, FL; two step-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren and six step-great-great-grandchildren; one brother, US Army retired Colonel James J. (Charlotte) Pollock; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday September 7, 2016 at 11:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Lance Lindenberger officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends will be received two hours before services on Wednesday (9-11am). The family wishes to thank the Laurels and Crossroads Hospice for their wonderful care.
