Murray C. Kimbrel
Murray Clay Kimbrel, age 85, of Canton, died Thursday morning , November 18, 2004 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. Born in Benton, IL., Aug. 4,
1919, to the late Claybourne and Ada (Ward) Kimbrel.
He was a Canton area resident for the past nine months prior to which he had been a life resident of Southern Illinois. A WWII army veteran and was a former manager for the Kroger Co. for 27 years. He retired from Equitable Life Assurance Society in 2003 after 37 years of service. Attended North Industry Christian Church and was a life member and former deacon, elder, Sunday school teacher and youth leader at First Christian Church of Flora, IL. Precded in death by his wife Jo Kimbrel in 1995. Survived by two sons and daughters-in-law; David and Carol Kimbrel of Havana, IL, Stephen and Marilyn Kimbrel of Canton; five grand-children, Tammy Criminger, Amy Curl, Paul David, Christopher & Nathan Kimbrel; five great grandchildren, Cassandra and Blakely Criminger, Clayton Paul, Eli Murray and Andrew James Kimbrel. Funeral services will be Saturday Nov. 27, 2004 in Frank & Bright Funeral Home, Flora, IL. at 10:30 am.

Friends may call Sunday, November 21, 2004, 4:00-6:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. Additional calling hours will be Friday November 26, 2004 in Flora, IL, 6:00-8:00pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made North Industry Christian Church, 425 - 45th St SW, Canton, OH 44706, or Canton Christian Home at 2550 Cleveland Ave NW, Canton, OH 44709.
