Mildred G. Swope
Age 88, of East Canton died Monday, August 31, 2009 in her home. Born October 3, 1920 in Rinard Mills, OH. to the late Benjamin and Louisa (Pugh) Hood. She was an East Canton resident most of her life and was formerly employed by Republic Steel. Mildred attended Canton Baptist Temple and was a member of Eastern Star Louisville Chapter #400. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Swope Sr. in 1977; a step-son, Charles M. Swope Jr.; a niece Ethel Hupp. Survived by several generations of grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009 at 11:00 am in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Rev. Delaney Young officiating. Interment in Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield, OH. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Thursday from 10 – 11 am.
