Mildred M. Hare
Age 89, of Canton died Wednesday, August 27, 2014 in St. Joseph Care Center following a brief illness. Born September 7, 1924 in Canton, Ohio to the late Marcel and Adeline M. (Schaefer) Kramer. She was a life resident of the Canton area. Mildred was retired from Ekco Products and was formerly employed by Nickles Bakery. She was a life member of St. Mary's/ St Benedict Catholic Parish of Canton where she was active in many church activities. Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas B. Hare in 2010; one son, Thomas P. Hare; one daughter, Susan Reeves; one grandson, Benjamin Reeves; six siblings, Robert Kramer, Virginia Hare, Wilbur Kramer, Albert Kramer, Paul Kramer and Raymond Kramer. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Myron Smith of Paris, OH., Theresa and Bob Strecker of Akron; one son-in-law, Timothy Reeves; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Florence Kramer, Caryl Karel and Carolyn Hare; one brother-in-law, James Rawley. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014 at 9:30 am in St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1602 Market Ave. S., Canton, OH. 44707, with Fr. Benson Okpara officiating. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. Memorial donations may be made to Catholic Charities Adult Day Services, 2308 Reno Ave., Louisville, OH. 44641.
