Michael P. Young Sr.
Age 63, of Canton, passed away Monday January 23, 2012 in Aultman Hospital. He was born December 12, 1948 in Canton to the late Carl and Mary (Fishel) Young. Michael was a 1966 graduate of McKinley High School and was the owner/operator of K & M Transfer Company. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Tom, Ray and Ron Young; one sister, Judy Lones. He is survived by his wife, Debbie L. (Lindsay) Young to whom he was married 46 years; two sons, Michael P. Young Jr. of Bradenton, FL, Mark A. Young of Canton; one granddaughter, Megan Young and Joshua Urban of Massillon; two great-grandchildren, Madison and Alexa Urban; one nephew who he raised as a son, Paul and Linda Young of Magnolia; three sisters, Pamela Behm, Carla Blair and Kay Mitchell; a close family friend, Cindy Silver; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call Thursday 6-8pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. There will be no other services. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family.
