Michael D. Aukerman

Age 58, of East Canton died Friday, February 2, 2018 unexpectedly in Mercy Medical Center. Born November 4, 1959 in Canton, Ohio to Donald E. and Ruth E. (Bennett) Aukerman. He was a Canton area resident most of his life and a graduate of Canton South High School. He retired from Marathon Oil in 2017 with 32 years of service. Michael was a loving father, grandfather and wonderful husband. Preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Aukerman; one brother, Tim Aukerman; one brother-in-law, John Oliver II. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Amber G. (Koch) Aukerman; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael II and Jenna Aukerman, Nicholas and Lacy Aukerman; one daughter, Ashley Aukerman; four grandchildren, Ava, Michael III “Dean”, Christopher, and Holton; father and spouse, Donald and Bretta Aukerman; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Marge Aukerman, Curtis and Donna Aukerman; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy and Charles Thompson, Elizabeth Oliver, Anna-Sarah and Chris Farha; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018 at 1:00 pm in Grace Fellowship Church, 6282 Nave St SW, Canton, OH. 44706. Friends will be received Friday from 7 – 9 pm at Grace Fellowship Church. Memorial donations may be made to the East Canton Booster Club, 310 Browning St, E. Canton, OH. 44730.
