Age 54, of North Canton, Ohio went home to be with her Lord unexpectedly in her home Thursday, September 29, 2022. Born September 25, 1968 in Canton, Ohio to Donald Sr. and Pamela (Young) Behm. She was a life resident of Canton and a 1986 graduate of Canton Timken High School. She was formerly employed by Rice Optical for several years. Melissa loved to bake and cook for people. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, David Scherer; one daughter, Taylor Scherer; one son, Michael Scherer; her father and stepmother, Donald Sr and Judy Behm; her mother, Pamela Behm; two sisters, Dawn Marchand and Sherry Behm; one brother, Donald Behm Jr; brother-in-law, Gary Scherer; several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be Monday, Oct 3, 2022 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave.
