age 85, passed away Sunday surrounded by her family. Irene resided in Canton South since 1960. She was a registered nurse where she had worked at Mercy Hospital, Canton South Medical Center for 19 years and the Growing Years Child Care until she was 72 years old. She was a faithful member of North Industry United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Barlow Jr.; Parents, Dana and Julia (Wright) Bean; sister, Doris Amos. She is survived by daughter, Christine Walters (Rich Warner); grandsons, Dwight, Rick and Jason; daughter, Dianne (Bruce) Biery; granddaughter, Sabrina; son, Gary Barlow; grandchildren, Jeremy and Jessica; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Pauline White of Akron, Vera (Paul) Knight of West Virginia; special friends, Lois and Tom. Funeral services will be Wednesday April 8, 2009 at 5:00pm in the North Industry United Methodist Church with Rev. Jeri K. Johnson officiating. Friends may call one hour before services at the church (4-5pm). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Irene's memory to her family to help defray expenses.
