May A. Wriston, age 60, of Minerva, died Friday morning in Altercare of Canton. She was a Minerva area resident since 1978 and was employed by Minerva Cheese Factory for 9 years. Active member of Mapleton United Methodist Church where she served as trustee, choir member and with the United Methodist Women. Preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Thouvenin. Survived by her husband, James A. Wriston, Sr. to whom she was married 37 years; one daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Donald Davis of Perry Twp.; one son, James A. Wriston, Jr of Minerva; two grandchildren, Andrew and Nancy Davis; her father, Vincent Thouvenin of Canton; one brother and sister-in-law, Fancis Lee and Sandy Thouvenin of Canton; one aunt, Ruth Geyer of Canton; two nephews, Jack and Jeff Thouvenin. Funeral services will be Monday at 1:00pm in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Rev. Clark Kandel officiating. Interment in Liberty Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday 2-4pm in the funeral home.
