Maxine D. Jones
Age 92, of Canton, passed away Thursday June 4, 2015 in Mercy Medical Center. She was born April 21, 1923 in Canton to the late Frederick and Bessie (Schario) Martin. Maxine was a life resident of Canton and formerly employed by Hercules Engines during WWII. She was a member of St. Mary/St. Benedict Parish. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Marion O. Jones; three brothers. She is survived two sons and daughters-in-law, Leroy and Debi Jones, Dale and Carol Jones all of Canton; five grandchildren, Brian, Brenda, Tiffany, Jeff and Jason; six great-grandchildren, Ciara, Logan, Brooke, Abbey, Megan and Dylan; numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be Monday June 8, 2015 at 10:00am in St. Benedict Catholic Church with Fr. Benson Okpara as celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
