Maureen A. Pealy
Age 70, of Massillon, passed away Sunday January 1, 2017 in Aultman Hospital. She was born November 4, 1946 to the late James Patrick and N. Ilene (McCaulough) Dunne. Maureen was a graduate of McKinley High School and a Massillon resident for the past 24 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Massillon. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Dunne and James Patrick Dunne Jr.; one sister, Patricia Yates. Maureen is survived by her husband, Gary A. Pealy to whom she was married 33 years; three children and their spouses, Walter Hoover Jr. of Louisville, Tammy and Richard Davis of Canton, Dennis and Gretchen Pealy of Canton; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one brother, Shannon Dunne; four sisters, her twin sister, Kathleen “Zacky” Nile, Mary “Peggy” Dunne, Annmarie (John) Lockridge and Sharon (Mike) Hopper; numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday January 6, 2017 at 10:00am in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Massillon with Fr. Raymond Paul as celebrant, the procession will form at the church. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received Thursday 5-7pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home.
