Anderson, Matilda A. (Lint)
Age 82, of Massillon died Thursday, June 18, 2009 in Hospitality House following an extended illness. Born December 31, 1926 in Murray City, OH. to the late Peter and Julia (Hiner) Carroll. She was a Massillon resident since 1986 prior to which she had resided in East Canton for 36 years. Matilda retired from Merit Plastics with 14 years of service and was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Lewis Lint in 1975; second husband, Frank Anderson in 1989; one nephew, Jake Smith. Survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Trish and James Moore of N. Canton, Donna Gribble and Don Snyder of Minerva, Jeri and John Hartenstein of Massillon; three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Toni Lint of Massillon, Tim and Paula Lint of Mogadore, Jeff and Kathy Lint of East Canton; 14 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; one sister, Elizabeth Smith of Las Cruces, New Mexico; one sister-in-law, Grace Lint of Millersburg. The family would like to thank Hospitality House for 12 plus years of loving care given to Matilda. Funeral services will be Monday, June 22, 2009 at 11:00 am in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Fr. William Kraynak officiating. Interment in Mapleton Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday from 10:00-11:00 am.
