Maryanne L. Anderson
Maryanne L. Anderson, age 63, of East Sparta, died Tuesday April 4, 2006 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. She was born in Canton, to the late Herman and Leah (Bailey) Gabel. She was a 1960 graduate of Lincoln High School and a life resident of the Canton and East Sparta area. Maryanne was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary Aerie# 2370, McKinley Eagles Friday Night Ladies Bowling League and the Monday Night Hall of Fame Bowling League. She is also preceded in death by one son, Scott Whitmer; one brother, James L. Gabel. She is survived by her husband, Larry C. Anderson to whom she was married 33 years; one son, Kirk Whitmer of East Sparta; one daughter, Rhonda Anderson of Paris, OH; one granddaughter, Jordan Whitmer of Navarre; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Joyce and Jim Robertson of Bolivar, Margaret Bates of Panama Beach, FL; one brother, Richard Gabel. Friends may call Saturday, April 8, 2006 from 2-4pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. Following cremation, a graveside service will be Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at 10:00am in Sunset Hills Burial Park with Terry Bailey officiating.
