Mary Ann Steigerwald
Mary Ann Steigerwald, age 75, of Canton, died Friday February 23, 2007 in McKinley Life Care Centre following a brief illness. She was born September 8, 1931 in Canton, to the late Samuel and Agnes (Galovick) Dubina. She was a life resident of the Canton area and a 1949 graduate of Timken High School. Mary retired from Burger King and was the former manager of the Cone Corner. She was a member of the former Sacred Heart Catholic Church for many years and a member of the Slovak Catholic Association. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Irene Dubina. She is survived by her husband, Robert J. Steigerwald Sr. to whom she was married 53 years; one daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Mike Demion of Huston, TX; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert Jr. and Brenda Steigerwald of Canton; two step-grandchildren, Paula Covelli of New Philadelphia and Michelle Moskowitz of White House, OH; two step-great grandchildren, Jacob Covelli and Kyle Moskowitz; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be Wednesday February 28, 2007 at 10:00am in the Mausoleum at Calvary Cemetery with FR. Vincent T. Freeh, MSC officiating.
