Mary M. Remesik
Age 99, of Louisville, passed away Saturday September 23, 2017 in Altercare of Louisville. She was born October 30, 1917 in Lisbon, OH to the late Clyde and Ada (Clapsaddle) McDevitt. Mary was a Canton resident since 1937 and retired from the Wilson Rubber Company. She was a member of Canton Temple of Praise Church of God. She is preceded in death by her husband, Andrew J. Remesik in 1962; four sisters and one brother. Mary is survived by her daughter, Carole A. Kelley of East Canton; two granddaughters, Cheryl (Larry) Criss and Sandra (Dave) McKelley; three great-grandchildren, Angela Morrison, Larry Criss II and Keith Phelps; four great-great-grandchildren and one step-great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be Wednesday September 27, 2017 at 11:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Pastor Webb Parsons officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received Tuesday 6-8pm and one hour before services on Wednesday (10-11am). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Stark County Humane Society in Mary’s memory.
