Mary E. Hunter
Age 82, of Canton, passed away Saturday October 12, 2013 in Mercy Medical Center. She was born December 2, 1930 in Holmes County to the late Doyle and Pauline (Coleman) Lee. She was a Canton area resident since 1969. Mary was a very loving mother and grandmother always putting her family first in her life; she was the true matriarch of the family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one grandson, Brian Hunter; step-mother, Margie Lee; three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her husband, Harry R. Hunter to whom she was married 65 years; six children and their spouses, Dennis and Gloria Hunter of Canton, Sandra Black of Canton, Ronald and Ada Hunter of Louisville, Jerry and Deb Hunter of Louisville, Sharon and Lynn Gibson of New Philadelphia, Terry Hunter of Phoenix, AZ; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters. A private family service will be conducted in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton. There will be no public services.
