Age 89, of Navarre died Sunday October 15, 2017 in Brewster Parke following a brief illness. Born June 17, 1928 in Canton, OH to the late John and Nellie (Dowd) Dreher. She was a life resident of the Canton/ Navarre area. Preceded in death by her husband, William Hawthorne in 2009; two sons, Dennis and Danny Hawthorne; one daughter, Linda Hawthorne; one son-in-law, Terry Weiser; one daughter-in-law, Doris Hawthorne; one great grandson, Blake Hawthorne; two brothers, Clarence “Pete” Williams and James Dreher. She is survived by five children and spouses, Linley Hawthorne, Glen “Sam” and Shirley Hawthorne, Roseann and Brad Mitchell, Denise and Walt Hatfield, Pat and Cindy Hawthorne; one daughter-in-law, Betty Hawthorne; 20 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; one brother and sister-in-law, Clarence “Bun” and Nancy Dreher; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services will be Friday, Oct. 20, 2017 at 11:00 am in North Industry Christian Church, 425 45th St. SW, Canton, OH. 44706, with Jeff Franks officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 6 – 8 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church from 10 - 11 am.
