Mary E. "Betty" Crumrine
Age 94, of East Canton died Sunday, January 30, 2011 in Crandall Medical Center following an extended illness. Born January 27, 1917 in East Canton to the late, Raymond and Geraldine (Bourquin) Myers. She was a life resident of East Canton, a 1935 graduate of East Canton High School and a 1938 graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. Betty was a member of East Canton Church of God. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Crumrine; one brother, Eugene Myers; one great grandson. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Dan Berndt of Salem; one son and daughter-in-law, James and Barbara Crumrine of Junction City, Oregon; six grandchildren and spouses, Dan Berndt of Lisbon, Kris and Glen Evert of Salem, Bethany and Shea Hartle of Junction City, Oregon, Caleb Crumrine of Junction City, Oregon, Moriah and Christian Shelton of Kansas, Grace Crumrine of Junction City, Oregon; nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday, Feb. 4, 2011 at 2:00 pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Michael Jones officiating. Interment in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. Memorial donations may be made to the East Canton Church of God, Osnaburg Historical Society or the Foltz Community Center.
