Martin Tolley
Martin Tolley, age 74, of East Canton died Monday, July 10, 2006 in Hanover House following an extended illness. Born on June 10, 1932 in Hampton, TN. to the late John and Bell (Cochran) Tolley. He was an East Canton resident since 1964 and a veteran of the Army infantry during the Korean War. Formerly employed by Macombers, Babcock & Wilcox and Ohio Security. Member of VFW Post #7490. Preceded in death by one sister, Mildred Scalfe; two brothers, Leonard and Carrol Tolley. Survived by his wife of 51 years, Ernestine (Clark) Tolley; one daughter and son-in-law, Jeanette and Thomas Searfoss of Canton; one grandson, Thomas Searfoss of Canton; one granddaughter, Tiffany Searfoss of Canton; two great grandchildren, Zakary and Sierra Searfoss; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Darlene Tolley, Larry and Eddie Tolley all of Hampton, TN; two sisters and brother-in-law, Mary Evelyn Glover, Eunice and Henry Berry all of Hampton, TN; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at 7:30 pm in Memorial Funeral Chapel, Elizabethton, TN. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park, Johnson City, TN. on Thursday, July 13, 2006 at 11:00 am. Friends may call prior to the service on Wednesday from 6:00 - 7:30 pm at Memorial Funeral Chapel, Elizabethton, TN. Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton is handling arrangements.
