Martha F. White
Age 91, of Canton, passed away Thursday January 22, 2015 in her home, surrounded by her family following a brief illness. She was born September 12, 1923 in Noble County, OH to the late William and Vashti (Hutchins) Oliver. Martha was a Canton area resident most of her life. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America and volunteered with Meals on Wheels. Martha enjoyed bowling, craft making and truly loved her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Albert J. White in 1996; two brothers and four sisters. She is survived by five children, Genevieve Smith, Mary Maher, Patricia (Gary) Bates, Linda West and Ronald White; 29 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her best friend and therapist, Debbie Drake. The family would like to thank Mercy Hospice for their wonderful care. Funeral services will be Monday January 26, 2015 at 1:00pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Greg Smith officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
