Marlene J. Helms
Age 72, of East Canton, passed away Sunday March 29, 2015 in Aultman Compassionate Care following an extended illness. She was born April 23, 1942 in Torrington, CT to the late Emil and Shirley (Bannon) Sarri. Marlene was an East Canton resident since 1993 and a member of the Over Forty Touring Bike Club. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one daughter, Kathryn Swift; one sister, Irene Garrettson; two brothers, Emil Sarri and Bill Seymour. She is survived by her husband, Eugene E. Helms to whom she was married 20 years; one son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Melissa Murphy of Minerva; one daughter, Karen Dawson of N. Canton; two step-children, Ricky Helms of N. Canton, Deborah and Danny Gilleland of Georgia; 10 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter; four sisters, Patricia, Carol, Pamela and Kathleen.
