Age 91, of Sandyville, Ohio died Saturday, May 2, 2015 in Mercy Medical Center following a brief illness. Born July 2, 1923 in Marion County, WV. to the late George and Alma (Skinner) Winemiller. She was a Sandyville resident since 2003 and was formerly employed by Walmart, W.T. Grants and various other businesses. Marlen was a member of Northwest Church of Christ, TOPS #1128 North Industry, Stepping Stones for Ohio Valley University and Mineral City Senior Center. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles Thompson;five sisters and five brothers. She is survived by one son, Daniel O. Wilt Sr of Kansas City, MO; one daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Henry Hadden of East Sparta; four grandchildren, Daniel (Maria) Wilt Jr, Harold (Marleen) Scott, Wendy (Sean) Braham, Bradley (Ronni) Hadden; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 7:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave with Lance Lindenberger officiating. Inurnment in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Tuesday from 6-7 pm. Memorial donations may be made to Northwest Church of Christ or Ohio Valley University.
