We regretfully announce the passing of Mark Abrigg, 75, who passed away surrounded by his loved ones on November 11, 2023. Mark had a difficult battle with cancer and is finally at rest.
Mark was a lifelong resident of Canton South. He graduated in 1967 and also retired in 2012 from Canton South High School. Mark enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, playing basketball, and vacationing.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Katherine (Unsworth) Abrigg; son, Marc (Alicia) Abrigg; son, Aaron (Amber) Abrigg; daughter Amy Abrigg; grandchildren, Jacob, Maya, Nick, Lucas, Zack, Brooklyn, and Cain; sisters, Patricia Thewes, Linda Thomas, Carolyn (James) Peterson; sister-in-law, Judy Kogut; sister-in-laws, Maureen Abrigg and Judith Abrigg; Aaron’s mother-in-law, Janie Bressler; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Timothy Abrigg and Ronald Abrigg; sisters, Rosemary Sechrist, Joanne Parks, Margaret Eslich; sister-in-law, Linda Hane.
A visitation will be Thursday, November 16, 2023, 5-7pm in the Kreighbaum Sanders Funeral Home.
