Marjorie M. Zollins
Marjorie M. Zollins, age 85, of East Sparta, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, died unexpectedly Sunday September 10, 2006 in Mercy Medical Center. She was born May 29, 1921 in North Industry to the late Lester and Ella (Barnes) Shew. She was a life resident of East Sparta and a 1939 graduate of Canton Township High School. Marjorie was a life member of Howenstine Christian Church where she was active with the Ladies Aid. She retired from Stoll's IGA in 1979 after 23 years of service. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Leonard Shew. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Benjamin A. Zollins; one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Dorothy Zollins of Canton; two granddaughters and their spouses, Lisa and Steve Coates of Hudson, Laurie and Mike Boyd of Uniontown; three great- grandchildren, Jonathan, Madeline and Caroline Coates; one sister, Miriam Lebold of Magnolia. Funeral services will be Wednesday September 13, 2006 at 10:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. with Pastor Chris Davis officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Tuesday (tonight) 6-8pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Howenstine Christian Church at 6080 East Sparta Ave. SE, East Sparta, OH 44626.
