Marjorie M. Whitley
Age 91, passed away Sunday January 29, 2017 in Altercare of Navarre. She was born July 14, 1925 in Bellaire, OH to the late Roland and Clara (Eichelberry) Davis. Marjorie was a Canton resident since 1943 and a member of the Northwest Church of Christ. She was formerly employed by Doctors Hospital and The Timken Company. She is preceded in death by her husband, Troy D. Whitley in 2010; two brothers, Wilbur Davis and Roland Davis Jr.; two sisters, Mary Riffle and Dorothy Stubblefield. Marjorie is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Lou Whitley, Don and Mary Whitley, Roger and Kathleen Whitley; three grandchildren, Jason Whitley, Michelle (Dave) Lehman and Stephen (Kelli) Whitley; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harold and Charles Davis; two sisters, Eva Baker and Clara Helms; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday February 1, 2017 at 11:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Lance Lindenberger officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends will be received one hour before services on Wednesday (10-11am). The family would like to extend a special thank you to Rena McFarland and all the employees at Altercare of Navarre.
