Marion J. (Cice) Carraher

Age 91, of Canton began her journey to heaven on Thursday, October 7, 2021 in the Arbors of Minerva. Marion was born in Canton, Ohio on April 16, 1930 to the late Angelo and Margaret (Andriotte) Cice. She was married to Leo F. Carraher for 48 years before his passing on June 19, 2001. Marion was preceded in death by her brothers, John and Carl Cice and a grandson, Aaron Salamon. She is survived by her daughter, Vickie (Gordy) Fothergill; a son, Kenneth (Mary) Carraher; a granddaughter, Courtney John; four brothers, Paul (Ruth) Cice, Angelo (Rita) Cice, Joseph Cice, Charles (Pearl) Cice; two sisters, Shirley (Jerry) Brown, Patricia (Larry) Stauffer; many nieces and nephews. Marion devoted her life to her family and her love of sewing. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021 at 12:30 pm in Christ the Servant Parish at Our Lady of Peace Church, 833 39th St NW, Canton, OH 44709, with Msgr. Lewis Gaetano as Celebrant. Friends and family will be received one hour prior to the mass at the church from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity she supported for years, St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
