Marie E. Himes
Age 92, of Canton, passed away Tuesday February 25, 2014 in the Laurels of Massillon. She was born July 14, 1921 in Canton to the late Carmen and Anna (Loudiana) Larcena. Marie was a life resident of Canton and a 1939 graduate of McKinley High School. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Canton and Friends of the Library. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd E. Himes in 1994 and one sister, Dorothy Himes. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Lloyd A. and Barbara Himes, J. Mark and Janet Himes all of Canton; one grandson, J. Mark and Denise Himes II of Bolivar; one granddaughter, Michelle and Mike Wolfe of Melbourne, FL.; five great-grandchildren, Brittany, Leah, Lindsay, Jacob and Andrew; five nephews and three nieces. A Memorial Mass will be Friday February 28, 2014 at 10:00am in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Canton with Fr. Benson Okpara as celebrant. A private inurnment will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
