Age 77, of East Canton died Wednesday, April 8, 2009 in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. Born September 15, 1931 in Canton, OH. to the late Fred G. and Bessie (Wallace) Clark. She was a life resident of the Canton area and a graduate of East Canton High School. Marie retired from DLH Industries Inc. Preceded in death by her husband, Elmer C. Guist in 2001; one son, Terry Guist; five sisters and two brothers. Survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Clifford and Fe Guist of East Canton, Dennis and Sharon Guist of Kansas; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday, April 13, 2009 at 1:00 pm in the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Michael D. Jones officiating. Interment in Mapleton Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday from 12 -1 pm.
