Margie L. Devore, age 62, of East Sparta died Friday, December 1, 2006 in her home following an extended illness. Born in Middlebourne, WV. on March 30, 1944 to the late Leslie and Lillian (Mathews) Jacobs. She was an East Sparta resident for the past 11 years and former manager of Speedy-Foods. Member of Market Ave. Church of Christ. Margie enjoyed quilting, sewing and traveling. Preceded in death by three sisters. Survived by her husband of 46 years, Glenn A. Devore; two sons and daughter-in-law, Brian and Nancy Devore of East Sparta, Byron Devore of Canton; one daughter, Teresa Spitza of Uniontown; four grandchildren; one great granddaughter; one brother, Bill Jacobs of Jefferson, OH; three sisters, Pearl Kerns of Canton, Thelma Bugay of Cambridge and Suzanna Orr of Flushing, OH; numerous nieces, nephews and other family. Funeral services will be Sunday, December 3, 2006 at 4:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Keith Kull officiating. Interment in Hartshorn Ridge Cemetery, Lewisville, OH. on Monday at 11:00 am. Friends may call Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00 pm.
