Margaret Schreckengost Duncan
founder and former owner of the Cake Lady Bakery passed away Tuesday June 16, 2015 in her home near Cadiz, OH. Margaret was an avid reader, but she also enjoyed the outdoors; hunting, fishing, camping and just being surrounded by nature. One of her greatest joys was seeing the smiles on the children's faces when they saw their birthday cakes. So to all of her wonderful customers, Peg bids you a final farewell and thank you. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Virginia (Coleman) Schreckengost. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Duncan; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Heather Kohl, Michael and Amy Kohl; three grandchildren, Morgan, Lenore and Katelynn Kohl; one brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Cynthia Schreckengost. Friends will be received Friday 4-7pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. A graveside service will be Saturday June 20, 2015 at 11:00am in Hines Cemetery which is near the Duncan home in Cadiz. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Margaret's name may be made to the Gabrail Cancer Center at 4875 Higbee Ave NW, Canton, OH 44718.
