Margaret I. Borkowski
Age 90, of Canton passed away Saturday April 16, 2011 in Aultman Hospital. She was born December 27, 1920 in East Sparta, OH to the late Florentz and Florence A. (Quillen) Rennie. Margaret was a life resident of the East Sparta area and a member of Sandy Valley Baptist Church. She was a foster mother for 20 years, caring for more than 79 children. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Borkowski in 2002 to whom she was married 61 years; two brothers, Paul and Stewart Rennie. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Fred Diss of Canton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ed and Laurel Borkowski of East Sparta, Mark and Jennifer Borkowski of Canton; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday April 19, 2011 at 1:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave with Rick Brown officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery.
