Margaret B. Baringer
Age 98, of Canton, passed away Monday June 26, 2017 in her home. She was born July 2, 1918 in Canton to the late John and Agnes (Zabolnik) Habrun. Margaret was formerly employed by Automatic Steel Products (Spun Steel), Perry Local Schools and Brookside Country Club. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, St. Bernadette’s Knights of Columbus and Women of the Moose Chapter #295. Margaret formerly was a member of Girl Scouts of America where she served as a troop leader for many years; she was an avid fisherman, gardener and bowler. She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl S. Baringer in 1962; one daughter, Donna Lynn McVehil; six sisters, Helen Danay, Mary Bennet, Pauline Herbert, Eileen Herbert, Agnes Baker and an infant sister; three brothers, John Joseph and Frank Habrun. She is survived by three daughters, Elaine (Bruce) Schweitzer, Becky (Daniel) Ambron and Beverly Cook; one son, Earl S. “Bud” Baringer Jr. (Patty Coons); 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday June 30, 2017 at 2:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave with Rev. Dee Baker officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends will be received two hours before services on Friday (12-2pm). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Crossroads Hospice at 3743 Boettler Oaks Dr. Unit E., Uniontown, OH 44685.
