Margaret E. (Davis) Bardine
Age 97, of Urbana, OH passed away peacefully Monday June 13, 2016 in her home. She was born December 7, 1918 in New Matamoras, OH to the late Elmer and Mary (Malone) Davis. She formerly resided in East Sparta and Hattiesburg, MS. She and her husband, Charles, enjoyed traveling throughout their years together. She was formerly employed by Republic Steel and Congress Lake Country Club. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles S. Bardine; seven sisters, Kathleen, Marie, Helen, Gladys, Ruth, Lillian and Evelyn; four brothers, Clifford, Willard, Raymond and Gene; two daughters, Nellie Ann Sanford and Frieda Sullivan; one son, Chucky Bardine. She is survived by one son, James (Donna) Bardine of Urbana; daughter-in-law, Joanne Bardine; brother-in-law, Lloyd Nicholas; two sisters-in-law, Imo Buss and Dorthea Bardine; 12 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday June 17, 2016 at 1:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Rev. E. Keith Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends will be received one hour before services on Friday (12-1pm). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
