Marcia R. McGill

Marcia R. McGill was born on June 21, 1941, and passed away on February 19, 2025. 

She was born in Canton, OH to Arthur and Gladys (Linsenbigler) Bednarz. Marcia is a proud graduate of Canton South High School, class of 1959, and a lifelong member of North Industry Christian Church. 

A resident of Canton, her and her husband, Ted, owned and operated McGill Well Drilling. Marcia was very much a family person and loved spending time with her five grandchildren. Known for her quilts, she loved to knit, read, play cards and Mahjong. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James “Ted” McGill Jr of 60 years who had passed on January 17, 2023. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her children; Ryan (Kris) McGill and Rita (Jim) Walbeck; sister, Shirley Chaney; grandchildren, Hayden Walbeck, Shannon McGill, Nicole McGill, Jocelyn Walbeck, and Eric McGill. 

Friends and family may pay their respects Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home, the funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m., interment at Melscheimer Cemetery to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to North Industry Christian Church in Marcia’s memory, 425 45th St SW, Canton, OH 44706.
