Madison G. Broadwater
Madison G. Broadwater, age 86, of East Canton, passed away Thursday September 25, 2008 in McKinley Health Care Center. He was born August 11, 1922 in Avilton, MD, to the late Enoch and Elna (McKenzie) Broadwater. Madison was a WWII Army veteran. He was an East Canton resident most of his life and operated the Mapleton Cider Press for 46 years. He retired from James Brothers Coal in 1995 and was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Waynesburg. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean Broadwater in 2002; one brother, Harold Broadwater. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Kris Broadwater of East Canton; one granddaughter, Maddie Broadwater of East Canton. A graveside service will be Saturday September 27, 2008 at 3:00pm in Mapleton Cemetery with Terry Bailey officiating.
