M. Frances Eaton
Age 90, of Alliance and formerly of East Canton, passed away Friday June 10, 2011 in Aultman Hospital. She was born August 21, 1920 in Irondale, OH to the late Homer and Grace (Davis) Downard. Frances was an East Canton area resident for 50 years and retired from Osnaburg Local Schools in 1982 after 11 years of service in the cafeteria. She was a member of the East Canton Church of God. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Eaton in 1967; one son, Dale Eaton; one infant son and one infant daughter; two infant grandchildren; one brother, Ray Downard; two sisters, Mabel Crowl and Rachel Shankle. She is survived by three sons, Robert Eaton of East Canton, Glenn Eaton of Springfield, OH, Russell Eaton of Louisville; two daughters, Margaret Kaser of Alliance, Janet Eaton of East Canton; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday June 1 4, 2011 at 10:00am in the East Canton Church of God with Pastor Michael Jones officiating. Interment in Mapleton Cemetery. Friends may call Monday 5-8pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton and one hour before services at the church on Tuesday (9-10am).
