M. Kathleen "Katie" Anthony
M. Kathleen "Katie" Anthony, age 97, formerly of East Canton, passed away Wednesday February 11, 2009 in Summit's Trace. She was born September 13, 1911 in Glenmont, OH. to the late Henry and Sara F. (Diehl) Hall. Katie was an East Canton resident since 1953 and retired from Stark County MRDD as a bus driver. She truly loved playing Bingo and frequented many bingo halls throughout the Stark County area. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lorin "Pete" Anthony in 1975; three brothers and one sister. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Harry and Mary Hunter of Canton; six grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. There will be no services; the Myers-Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton is handling arrangements.
