Lynn A. Jolly
Age 92, of Canton died Saturday, September 18, 2010 in his home following a brief illness. Born November 9, 1917 in Pike Township, OH. to the late Ervin A. and Anna A. (Koller) Jolly. He was a life resident of the Canton South area and a WWII Army Air Corps veteran. Lynn retired from Republic Steel in 1981 after 45 years of service. He was a member of North Industry Christian Church where he had served as a Deacon for 15 years and treasurer of the Home Builders Sunday School Class. Lynn enjoyed golfing, bowling, and fishing. Preceded in death by his wife, Maxine M. Jolly in 2004; one son, Jeffrey Jolly; one sister, Stella Stauffer. Survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy and Patricia Jolly of Akron, Stephen and Mary Jolly of Wooster; one daughter, Karen M. Jolly of St. Augustine, FL; one daughter-in-law, Karen S. Jolly of Canton; six grandchildren, Chad, Joshua, Rachael, Jessica, Zachery and Ashley. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Stephen Kimbrel officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Wednesday from 1:00-2:00 pm. Memorial donations may be made to the Philomatheon Society of the Blind Inc., 2701 Tuscarawas St. W., Canton, OH. 44708.
