Lynita H. Mensch

Lynita H. Mensch, age 85, passed away on November 28, 2023.  She was born on December 23, 1937, in Canton, Ohio, to Anthony and Cora (Michael) Schindler.

 Lynita is a 1956 McKinley High School graduate.  She was a secretary at Bruck Plastics. Lynita was a longtime member of Dueber Methodist Church. After retirement, Lynita and her husband Jack traveled with the MAPS missions organization.  Most of all she was a dedicated and loving mother and wife.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jack E. Mensch Sr. whom she was married to for 64 years; children, Kirk (Pam) Mensch, Todd (Jan) Mensch, Sheri (Dennis) Boyd, and Jack  Jr. (Kelli) Mensch; grandchildren, Kyle (Michaela), Lauren, Joshua(Sarah), Alexander, Ryan, Andrew, and Jessica.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Catherine Schoeppner, Cecilia Ambrose, Rita Balizet, and Bernadette Gilmore.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 2, 2023, from 9-11 am at Dueber Methodist Church, 645 Dueber Ave SW, Canton, OH 44706 with a funeral service beginning at 11 am.  Reverend Jonathan George will officiate.  Lynita will be laid to rest at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
