Lynette S. Deibel
Age 50, of Canton, passed away Thursday January 14, 2010 in her home following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born May 3, 1959 in Canton to Lawrence R. and Marlene (Holliday) Griffith. Lynn was a life resident of Canton and a 1977 graduate of Canton South High School. She was formerly employed by Canton Credit Bureau for many years and the Candy Apple's Dance Center. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Lynn loved reading, swimming, dancing, music, gardening and time spent at the beach. She is preceded in death by her father, Lawrence R. Griffith. She is survived by her husband, Michael D. Deibel to whom she was married 27 years; two daughters she dearly loved, Nicole Deibel of Canton, Stephanie Deibel of Canton; her mother, Marlene Griffith of Canton; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary Griffith and Dawn Marie Trehan of Monroe Falls, Keith and Sheri Griffith of Canton; three nieces and one nephew. The family would like to thank their family and friends for their unwavering love and support and the exceptional care Lynn received from Dr. Michael Linz and Dr. Mellar Davis. Funeral services will be Monday January 18, 2010 at 10:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Fr. Edward Beneleit officiating. Internment in West Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday 2-5pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Mercy Hospice.
