Luther B."Mac" McIntyre
Age 83, of Canton died Tuesday, May 17, 2011 in Aultman Hospital. Born March 6, 1928 in Jackson County, WV. to the late Henry Hecter and Blanche (Meredith) McIntyre. He was a Canton resident since 1951 and a U.S. Navy veteran. Luther was retired from the Chrysler Corporation in Twinsburg, OH. and was a member of the American Legion Post #44. Preceded in death by one son, Stephen McIntyre; seven brothers and one sister. Survived by one daughter, Debra Simmons of Canton; one grandson, Wesley Harvey of Navarre; three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 1:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Terry Bailey officiating. Interment will be Friday at 1:00 pm in Blain Memorial Cemetery in Cottageville, W.V. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Thursday from 12:00 – 1:00pm.
