Louise E. Anthony
Age 84, of East Canton, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016 in Oakhill Manor. Born September 3, 1931 in Clay City, IN to the late Mortiz G. and Bertha A. (Korspeter) Clausing. Louise was a 1949 graduate of New Philadelphia High School and an East Canton resident since 1949. She was the former co-owner/operator with her husband, Carl of the Anthony Farm since 1952. She was a member of Christ Memorial Church, Robertsville where she was the organist and served as a Sunday school teacher. Louise was also a member of Robertsville Grange #1784 and the Farm Bureau, Council 2L. Preceded in death by her husband, Carl on May 4, 2016; two brothers, Clarence and Ernest Clausing. She is survived by five children and spouses, Betty and Clyde Oyer, Rick and Jackie Anthony, Linda and Chuck Parker, Carla and Tim Ward, Mary and Roy Haines; 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, John and Ruth Clausing; two sisters-in-law, Cleora Clausing and Martha Unkefer Haubert; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday, June 6, 2016 at 11:00 am in Christ Memorial Church with Pastor Jonathon Arnold Sr officiating. Interment in Robertsville Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 5 – 7 pm with grange services at 4:30 pm in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church from 10 – 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Christ Memorial Church.
