Louis F. "Lewey" Mozden
age 93, of Canton, passed away Sunday February 21, 2010 in Aultman Hospital. He was born February 5, 1917 in St. Clairsville, OH, to the late Peter and Sophia (Csyscon) Mozden. Lewey was a WWII Army veteran and a Canton area resident since 1945. He retired from the Ford Motor Company in 1978 after 30 years of service. Lewey enjoyed playing the Accordion, polka music and loved animals of all kind. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Walter and Sylvester; three sisters, Helen, Sue and Mary. He is survived by two brothers, Marty Mozden of St. Clairsville, OH, Alex Mozden of New Mexico; one sister, Wanda Friede of Ravenna; numerous nieces and nephews including, Robert, Robin, Linda and Cookie; neighborhood friends, Dave and Teresa Richards, Don and Betty Price, Becky, Brenda, Brian and Maxwell Johnson and Rufus Carper. Funeral services will be Thursday February 25, 2010 at 10:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Fr. Benson Okpara officiating. Internment in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville, OH.
