Louis J. Mikunda Jr.
Age 62, of Sherrodsville, passed away Tuesday August 12, 2014 in his home following a courageous 11 year battle with cancer. He was born October 25, 1951 in Canton to the late Louis J. and Madalyne (Long) Mikunda Sr. Lou was a Canton South resident most of his life. He was a 1969 graduate of Canton South High School and had attended Kent State University. He was a sales rep for Pacemaker Plastics and more recently for Nova Brick. Lou served as president of the Atwood Valley Association. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Jack Fuller. He is survived by his wife, Linda A. (Cool) to whom he was married 23 years; four children, Kelly Lynn and Neil Kuhn of Canton South, Heather Lou Mikunda of Louisville, Michael and Nicole Beros of Canton, Jonathan Scott Beros of Canton; six grandchildren, Madison Lynn "Best Friend", Timothy Wayne, Allison Rose, Olivia Rose, Joslyn Grace and Micah Marie; one sister, Melody Fuller of Canton South; two nieces, Jaclyn and Lynsey; and many close friends. Funeral services will be Saturday August 16, 2014 at 10:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Calling hours will be Friday 5-8pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Aultman Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
