Loretta M. Beardmore
Age 94, of Canton, passed away Saturday December 19, 2015 in Meadow Wind Health Care. She was born June 3, 1921 in Massillon to the late Edgar and Elizabeth F. (Brigeman) Rook. Loretta was a life resident of the Massillon and Canton area. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Junior E. Beardmore in 2007; two brothers, Clement and Robert Rook; two sisters, Agnes Ridenbaugh and Ethel Hoffman. Loretta is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Blanche Beardmore of Navarre, Denny and Teresa Beardmore of Canton; one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jim Meader of Canton; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Paul (Evelyn) Rook and Kenneth (Grace) Rook; numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Meadow Wind Health Care and Crossroads Hospice for their wonderful care. Funeral services will be Wednesday December 23, 2015 at 11:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends will be received one hour before services on Wednesday (10-11am). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Epworth United Methodist Church.
