Lona M. Crawford
Lona M. Crawford, age 87, of Waynesburg, passed away Monday, September 1, 2008 in Great Trail Care Center following an extended illness. She was born September 14, 1920 in Mill Creek, WV, to the late Sterling and Lillie M. (Fincham) Shreve. Lona was a Waynesburg resident since 1978 and retired from Ecko Products in 1977 after 20 years of service. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Malvern. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Marion D. Crawford on June 30, 2008 to whom she was married 72 years; two sons, Chuck and Neale Crawford; two brothers and four sisters. She is survived one daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Jody McNeely of Malvern; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren; three daughters-in-law, Shirley Crawford of Minerva, Pat Dragomire of Perry Township, Sue Fletcher of Butler, PA. Funeral services will be Friday September 5, 2008 at 11:00am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home with Mark Black officiating. Interment in Sandy Valley Cemetery.
