Lois P. Slatzer
Lois P. Slatzer, age 78, of Canton, died Monday December 11, 2006 in Aultman Hospital following a brief illness. She was born June 20, 1928 in Canton to the late Howard and Florence (Baad) Bailey. She was a life resident of Canton and a 1946 graduate of Canton South High School. Lois retired from U.S. Ceramic Tile after 25 years of service and was a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was a life member of the Father and Son Hunt Club, member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie # 3228, Sandyville. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Delmar Slatzer in 1992; three brothers, Howard "Buzz", Merle and Larry Bailey. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Gail Slatzer of Canton; three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Clifford Young of Florida, Delma and Douglas Olson of Minnesota, Anita and Bob Dugan of Florida; seven grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; a good friend, "Whitey". Funeral services will be Friday December 15, 2006 at 2:00pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave with Pastor Bruce Roth officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery.
